Neil Kellerhouse did the posters, and i believe the majority of the marketing, so probably the VHS packaging as well…

Hey Shane- The book I was referring to is FAB Press' SHOCK HORROR:ASTOUNDING ARTWORK FROM THE VIDEO NASTY ERA. It is an amazing read and gives lots of history of the titles and knee jerk reactions from the censorship board in the UK. 99% of the time, movies were banned without the board even watching a frame of the picture. There are other less interesting books out there that just show VHS covers, but this actually talks about the art and history. It gets my highest recommendation.

When you put in the tape and the movie starts, it’s in letterbox which made me just slightly disappointed. If you’re gonna put it on tape, just for authenticity’s sake alone you should crop it. But as soon as the expertly designed credit sequence is over – bam! 4×3! Straight through until the end credits where it goes back to letterbox. This thing makes me way happier than it should. And not to mention that the movie is genuinely creepy and holds up on repeated viewings.
