Rich Kelly really went all out with this. As iconic as Maria is, most METROPOLIS posters feature her and we thought that we could do something different with this. Also, the entirety of the text on the poster is in German.

Overture came to us after seeing the work Olly did on the Roadshow poster series and asked for him by name. As you can see, he did not disappoint. Olly worked in a lot of ideas on this poster including the fangs on the title and the coolest part…the morse code with the bite marks. A lot of people were asking during Fantastic Fest and the morse code translates out to “kiss.”

Last but not least, we have Ken Taylor on POLTERGEIST. We had an outdoor screening of this last night here in Austin, TX and I found myself looking at the screen and then looking back at the poster checking the accuracy of the tree, house, clouds, etc. and let me say, Ken did his homework. Plus, the orange glows in the dark on this poster!

Just got my Poltergeist poster, love it!!!! Definitely one of the coolest posters released for such an awesome flick. Keep ‘em coming.
I love the fact that Modo even does glow posters. Poltergeist was a perfect choice for such treatment. Mondo’s Bride of Frankenstein (printed by D&L) is a perfect blending of art and novelty. When it glows you see what is hidden in the light. Sadly, Mondo’s Der Golem (printed by VG Kids) has no definition between the glowing part and the rest of the poster. In other words, its one weak glowing blur even if you throw a spot light on it. Perhaps I was shipped the broken one. Glow in the dark stuff is not easy to do and can be a pain to print correctly.
