Mondo Presents: STAR WARS! Luke’s Destiny By Frank Stockton On Sale Now!

This is the second week in a row that we’ve had a new STAR WARS print by a new artist. We are pleased to present, Luke’s Destiny by Frank Stockton!

Poster by Frank Stockton. 24″x 36″ screen print. Hand numbered. Edition of 360. Printed by D&L Screen Printing. Click HERE to buy.

Having to wait months to show anyone this image was pure torture. When we first opened our inboxes and saw the initial rough sketch for this all we could say was “wow!” Frank did such a good job on this that the rough sketch was essentially the final. We’re halfway through the series at this point, so get ready for some gems!

Definitely one of my favorite scenes of all-time! Thank you Mr. Frank Stockton for the design. I just scooped one up and can’t wait to frame & hang. Hopefully you can autograph it at a future convention. Cheers!

Happy to say that this is my first poster purchased and not my last. Great scene from one of the greatest trilogies of all time.

Get ready for some gems? We’ve had several already, so I am really looking forward to seeing what the second half of the series brings.

@cdubya & john: dudes if you’re looking for traced screen caps from the movies there are about a thousand posters readily available. These are artist’s interpretations of iconic scenes and characters from the first three Star Wars films. I would recommend in the future you take a peek at a given artist’s portfolio to gain a better understanding of where they’re coming from. Photo realistic renderings are fucking boring, dig?
I don’t wanna turn you guys off of lowbrow art or anything but this kind of naive criticism has really become much more prevalent since Mondo licensed this property.
Is it possible you’re looking for something across the street maybe? ;)

John & cdubya….cape….really? That’s all you see? Well said Iron……To illustrate such an iconic scene from a film and to create the same scene from a completely different angle is not an easy feat. Gotta give it Frank for trying….and really succeeding! Going in a frame and all my friends are gonna be blown away by this illustration.
