    Going, going, gone!

Sold out in 3 minutes. Absolutely insane! So glad I was able to snag one. I liked the variance a lot, but I had to go with the odds.

Keep up the great work, everyone @ MONDO and definite props to Tyler.

I cannot believe I missed this. I was refreshing the site every few minutes and the few minutes I didn’t refresh it, they went on sale. Massively bummed, but congrats to everyone who got one! This is a remarkable poster… Here’s hoping for a second pressing!

Wow, an 8:30am pacific time drop? I think everyone was expecting something at least after 9am for west coast collectors/fans, since generally at 8:30am people are on their way to school, work, etc here on the pacific time zone grid. Ugh.

I love the site and I am sure a lot of thought goes into these drops, but there has got to be a better/fairer way to do this. Each time a big drop has happened, i.e., popular artist and popular movie, I have arrived at the site exactly when the twitter announcement happens, add the print to my cart, begin to pay and by the time I’m done paying it is sold out. It basically allows another use with a faster internet connection to come to the site after all the available prints have been placed in carts and still walk away with a print b/c he or she is able to pay for it faster. It also doesn’t help that the site comes to a halt on days like today and seems to get overloaded. I understand that there will always be an element of luck in things like this, but I hope you take these thoughts into consideration. Again, I love the site and I know a lot of hard work goes into these projects. I just wish I had a little more control in obtaining some of these prints.

Cool poster – shame the Mondo cart system is so awful. It feels like a slap in the face when you get one in the cart but it’s sold out before you can check out.

A truly gorgeous poster from Tyler. He’s very much at the top of his game here.
Now remember guys if you didn’t score you are in the majority on this one. It’s a HUGE release with an absurd amount of people going for it at the same time. Mondo held up just fine, the run is plenty big, the drop was at a random time. All is fair today.
If you feel the need to vent find a pillow and scream into it. Online tantrums tend to hang around forever and can be quite embarrassing for you later when you’ve calmed down.

btw I didn’t score one myself. Win some, lose some.. just try and have fun playing the game :)

That was unfair and way too early. I mean, if it’s between waiting for drop or going out to the store in person, I’d hope that at least one of the options is worth it.

man, I tried to get one but couldn’t even get the site to load, and boom. sold out. could you guys start doing cheap prints? i mean…clearly there are tons of people who want your posters. if i can’t score a quality print, at least let me get a cheap-o one so i don’t totally miss out. i’ve never been able to score a mondo poster. wah wah poor me i know, but it just seems like you could make more money and make more people happy with some more options…

Well it would have been nice to get one of these TYLER STOUT “KILL BILL” posters but I actually have a “INGLOURIOUS BASTARDS” TYLER STOUT poster and I enjoy that film more. IRON JAIDEN is right “WIN SOME LOSE SOME” Im psyched I was able to get a KEN TAYLOR VARIANT “SUCKER PUNCH” poster last week.

Can anyone explain how doing a larger print run of these wouldnt make more money, give flippers less leverage and keep more customers happy, while keeping them as exclusive? Shit, even if you didn’t tell anyone, but printed an extra 10,000 nobody would know…

Again, what is the point of the limited run? Who gives a shit that their poster is x out of xxx? Without that nonsense, Mondo makes more money, the artist gets wider exposure, and more fans get their hands on a poster that they really want and will cherish forever. There is no downside, whatsoever.

Lost out in the cart. Bummer. It’s ok, though, still need to frame Hellboy II and CE3K (which I still haven’t recieved)

In my cart, but the slow website return killed me. I also love seeing so many already on eBay. This poster should have started at $200 for the regular version and $300 for the limited edition just to deter the flipsters.

You guys really are going from strength to strength with these outstanding artworks and continued collaborations but nonetheless still keeping it limited (only slightly increasing the edition). The secret is definitely out on Mondo and their outstanding prints though. Espc, now that Tarantino knows, the whole world will know :) . Failed today, but hey, c’est la vie…!

As much as I like owning limited edition blah blah blah stuff…is there any chance of upping the print runs on posters as this site gets more and more popular? I’ve been trying to get some of the Stout stuff since a long while back and have tried everything from his lottos to waiting for it to drop here and refreshing the page as quickly as possible and have had no luck (Except for the Warriors poster, got an extra, anyone wanna trade?). I just like the art, and it’s a real bummer that it’s going to re-seller butt bags and nerds that get up way too early in the day. Thanks.
